Dave Rosenberg, CEO and Co-founder

Prior to founding MuleSource, Dave Rosenberg served as Chief Information Officer for Glass Lewis & Co., a leading investment research and proxy advisory firm. Rosenberg also served as Principal Analyst for the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL), a global consortium dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Linux.

Previously, Rosenberg was Programs Director for LinuxWorld and Comdex and held technology and marketing positions at Sprint, OmniSky and NorthPoint Communications. At OmniSky his work on wireless provisioning systems was awarded a U.S. Patent. He contributes regularly to leading industry and business publications, including BusinessWeek, InfoWorld, ComputerWorld, CNET, ZDNet, Release 1.0, Slashdot and IBM DeveloperWorks. He co-authors Open Sources, the most widely-read open source related blog.

Rosenberg holds a BA from Rutgers University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Ross Mason, CTO and Co-founder

Prior to founding MuleSource, Ross Mason was Chief Executive Officer of SymphonySoft Limited, an EU-based company providing services and support for large-scale integration projects. Previously, Mason was Lead Architect for RaboBank and played a key role in developing one of the first large-scale ESB implementations in 2002. Mason has also worked with NatWest Bank, Credit Suisse and UBS.

Mason founded the open source Mule project in 2003. Frustrated by integration "donkey work," Ross set out to create a new platform that emphasized ease of development and re-use of components. He started the Mule project to bring a modern approach, one of assembly, rather than repetitive coding, to developers worldwide.

Mason holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from Bristol, UK.

Jim Emerich, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining MuleSource, Jim spent six years at Salesforce.com, where he served most recently as senior vice president of Internal Audit. During his tenure at Salesforce, Emerich also held the positions of chief accounting officer, interim CFO, and head of the Tax and Treasury departments.

Prior to Salesforce.com, Emerich held leadership roles in finance and accounting for various high tech and manufacturing companies. Emerich also serves on The Arc of San Francisco's Board of Directors and chairs its Audit Committee.

Emerich is a graduate of Principia College where he earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, and Economics. He is also a graduate of the General Electric Financial Management Program.

Ron Park, VP of Engineering

Prior to joining MuleSource, Ron served as Group Director of Engineering for Oracle's CRM applications division. Ron was responsible for both the Siebel CRM Customer Data Integration product lines and the architecture team for Project Genesis, the integration between Siebel CRM and Oracle e-Business Suite applications. Prior to Oracle and Siebel, Ron served as Director of Engineering at NorthStar Systems, where he was a part of the founding team and was responsible for the first five versions of the company's Private Wealth Management solutions. Prior to Oracle, Ron led development of a first-generation enterprise integration server and suite of adapters as a Director for Extricity Software, which was acquired by Peregrine Systems in 2001. Ron has also held a variety of architecture and management positions at Ariba, BusinessObjects, and Oracle.

Over his 18 year career in the software industry, Ron has accumulated expertise across a comprehensive range of enterprise technologies, including: Java, J2EE, SOA, EAI, enterprise applications (CRM, Financial Services, ERP, e-commerce), master data management, CDI, web services, and relational databases.

Park holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA and is currently pursuing his Wharton MBA for Executives at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mike Lewis, VP of Sales

Prior to joining MuleSource, Lewis was Account Director at TIBCO, where he led sales strategies for major global accounts such as Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb, GE, CIGNA and numerous others. Previously, Lewis held senior sales and management positions at Staffware, Documentum, Gensys Software, ADP and Xerox. Over his 23-year career in the IT industry, Lewis has built successful global sales teams, driven multi-million dollar software sales channels and led several early stage start-ups to profitability.

Lewis holds a BA from Union College.

Damian Raffell, VP of EMEA Sales and Operations

Raffell joins MuleSource from Sun Microsystems in the UK, where he was responsible for driving Sun's Business Integration and Enterprise Java Business. Prior to Sun Microsystems, Raffell held senior level managerial, Technical and Consulting roles in EMEA for Spiritsoft, Canopy International and Sony Broadcast & Communications. Over his 18-year career in the software industry, Raffell has accumulated deep expertise with integration technologies across a broad range of end user environments and vertical industries, with a specialty in financial services.

Raffell holds a Higher Diploma in electronic engineering from the UK's Naval Academy.
